We are UD!

(A little background for those who don’t know their Ohio schools, the image above is a burn on THE Ohio State University.)

In case you haven’t been following the NCAA March Madness Tournament, the Dayton Flyers have made it to the Sweet 16 for the first time since 1984. To give you an idea of the time, my parents were just sophomores in college that year. So this is kind of a big deal!

The game is all anyone on campus can talk about. Professors have been cancelling classes or giving points for students who attend classes today. UD is showing the game on two 26 ft x 15ft screens in the arena, which is kind of a big deal. So all of this is crazy exciting, even for me. I’ve never really been a huge basketball fan, but this year, I’ve just got a huge burst of school pride.

In honor of the big game, Buzzfeed has had a couple really awesome articles and lists on UD. I’ll be sharing links throughout the day!
